The education in Sri Lanka has a latent demand which means that the said need cannot be satisfied by the existing learning systems. The existing teaching method which is conventional and related reading materials such as books and magazines are not capable enough to fully satisfy the need for good education.

As the existing conventional teaching method has an inherent shortcoming of being time constrained and being unable to provide sufficient individual attention to each student, as the learning capacity of each student differs between fast, average and slow learners. Besides, according to researches, a student devotes only 16% of his/her time to reading, compared to 45% spent in listening.
